Hey Belleville Crew!!! Those were the days! How are you all? This is John Gilmore. I wanted you all to know that my cousin David Dantzler had an accident behind the wheel and flipped his suburban truck nine times! He was thrown through the window leaving him with a fractured neck, broken ribs and a broke hip. He has been in ICU the last few days. I was informed that after a long week in the hospital he was finally discharged home. That's good news! I'm one family member that knows him well. He is a person that prays a lot, tries to be fair, and want the best for his family. I've seen David get off work at the club 7am and went to Brookland Baptist Church 2 hours later and pay his tithes. He always talk to me about getting a 9am-5pm job and the challenges that he faces. David called me while driving to Charlotte Saturday night. When I learned of the accident I knew without a doubt that alcohol, drugs, and not even a cigarette was in his body. He don't believe in that junk. David was going to work trying to provide for his family. I will be the first to say he is a proud man and don't like to ask especially friends and family members for anything. We as his friends and family will continue to lift him up in prayers. David was the bread winner for his family. He will not be able to work for a while which means his family will go lacking. David will not be able to do the things he would like for his son, Jacobi on his first birthday. I know we are facing serious economic times. We as a people can be a blessing to David and his family financially. When my wife was in an accident three years ago David was the person that gave a lot to help my family out. We want him to concentrate on a speedy recovery not his financial obligations. Let us as family and friends lift him up in spirit and leave the judging to God. Please if you can, send your donations to David's family's address:
Marion D. Dantzler
101 Saluda Pointe Drive Apt 915
Lexington, SC 29072
Thanks you for your time and lets help David in his time of need. It does'nt matter how much you can give lets all please give something.
Thanks again in advance.
-John Gilmore

I enjoyed the music from the side line (two left feet) the music of today could never compete with what we grew up listening too. Whatever happen to Mr Bryant?

Those were the days. Guys sneaking a feel. Slow dancing and just being a kid thinking I was grown. Oh and "doing the butt", "the cabbage pack," "the snack" and all the other dances I wouldn't dare trying to do in public now. No actually, I would still do those dances just to embarrass the kids.

I remember the eighth grade prom. Me and Vincent Cokely went together. I had on my pin polka dot balloon dress and he had on a pink and black suit. My cousin was a bus driver so she drove her mom's bonneville....you couldn't tell us we weren't riding in class. My dad would have flipped if he knew I went with my boyfriend..oops, did I say that. He can't do nothing about it now...Oh well. I had a wonderful time. Didn't get to eat because I was trying to be cute and left there hungy as ****!!!!! Won't do that again!!LOL!!!
