I went to Brookdale for 6-8th grades. Funny how life goes. My children attended the same school 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade.

BROOKDALE MIDDLE SCHOOL....where it all started! Colored Lee's, Letigre' shirts, Lee jean outfits (solid & pin stripe), Shell toe Adidas, suede Adidas (the ONLY dude with the Sky Blue joints!), baseball caps with your name on it, Name buckles (chinese style was the sh*t!), gold name plates (I was just cleaning my jewelry box out yesterday and saw my "LENNY" name plate with the city on top...WOW!). YOU CAN'T FORGET Field's Day...I never won an award better yet I never participated in any of the events. I just came on that day and got DRUNK with the crew. Year after Year after Year!!!!! lol Damn, those were the days. :-)

P.S. Who could forget hangingout @ Lakeview Skating on Saturday night's...THAT WAS THE SH*T!

I wnet to Brookdale when it was all 7th graders. Then we went to Belleville for 8th and 9th grade. Actually, I only went to Bellevile fpor 8th grade because they moved 9th grade to OW the next year. The graduating class of 82 from OW was the first 9th grad class at OW

Hi Everyone, I went to Brookdale from 1991-1994. I miss those days where me and friends, crack old jokes about the teachers and going outside to play around before the bell rings after lunch. I seen alot of familar names so far. I wish my name was in the list of included people Latoya.

My day at Brookdale were brief before I transferred. I remember being in Mrs. Cain's science class and doin a science experiment about clouds and how they form. I think everyone remembers Coach Jackson or "Meathead" as they all called him. Who could forget Mr. Dunn who gave everybody candy. Who could forget the chorus teacher and Mrs. Bodrick. I also remember becoming great friends with some of the most wonderful people such as Kodell Bovain, Nevasha Ellis, Courtney Jenkins, Frank & Corey Corley, Tasha & Destiny Sanders, Tremaine Scott, Darien Butler, Yvonne Williams, Tonya Dantzler, who could forget the Randolph boys, Dexter and Demarius, Bradford Haigler, just to name a few...

Brookdale. . . . . Brookdale . . . . . . Brookdale. Damn I wish we could do it all over again. From playing b-ball in the mornings with Deek (Roosevelt R.I.P), running to to class to see one of the sexiest science teachers at that time (Mrs. Twiggs), bowling in the hallway for P.E., going to band class and watch a man with no leggs ripp up a drum set like he was on tour, then to round out the day outside waiting on the bus and watch Troy Kirtz get in a fight with a girl and get a handful of his "Soultrain" afro pulled out to the scalp! HELL YEAH, BROOKDALE has my vote!!!!
