www.GentryLeagueofAmerica.org is now accepting applications for membership.

The Gentry League of America promotes the fostering of the continuation of Christian traditions, morals and ethical family values among families with adolescent children. Our national membership initiatives are inclusive of the promotion of the uttermost global, finanical, educational and cultural awareness, coupled with the underlying goal of instilling long-term friendships, support groups and a system of networks.

Hey there… I hope that you all are well and blessed! Lots has happened and I will send a later update on of all that. I am sorry for not keeping you all posted but I was really having a rough time and needed to rest after going to the NYC and spending 12 days in the hospital with my new treatment – with many serious complications. I had to grieve the loss of the love and support a close friend and family also during this time. I was covered going in and coming out by His blood. He was holding me down. And the prayers were keeping me lifted up. Many thanks again to all who came to visit, sent words of encouragement and called. But most all thanks for the prayers!

I am in the hospital now! I will be here until Saturday – July 19th. I am at Carolinas Medical Center – Main 1000 Blythe Blvd. Charlotte NC 28203 704 355 6431 Room 4920. I have no set visiting hours – you may come by anytime. I can not get any fresh flowers or fruit baskets. You can send cards and balloons.

For those who want to make donations, contributions and help with my care and treatment – you have some options. I get asked a lot what can I do and what do you need – well here is the mini list.

I can use the following:
Visa Gift Cards
Target Gift Cards – where I get all my Medications!
Wal Mart Gift Cards
Gas Cards
This will help with my day to day needs and some monthly expenses. I am waiting patiently on Social Security to approve my case so I will get a little Government check.

You can also make donations to the SunTrust Fund Account – you can email or call the following SunTrust contacts to get the information:
Lacey Callen
Lacey.callen@suntrust.com
704 347 6020

LaToya Jenkins
Latoya.jenkins@Suntrust.com
704 847 9871

Ok… last two points. My mailing address is: Post Office Box 473724 Charlotte NC 28247 and still the same cell 704 975 4343. You can send any and everything to this address. 

Lastly, I am O+ blood type – I have needed to get 2 units while I am here. So I am asking that you all donate blood and if you are O+ I just may get it or you can help someone else in the same need.

Continue to prayer for me and seek Him for yourself. God has His plan for me but I have to do my part - have unshakable faith, prayer, submit to His plan and wait patiently for my healing and many blessing, and lastly do my part for His Kingdom.

Much Love and Blessings!

Gabrielle

Helen Sheffield, those were the days, and yes who can forget ms. z, none of us she was our back bone, and we did it right or not at all.
Katrina Sweet Comment by Katrina Sweet on June 20, 2008 at 1:53am
What ever happened to Mrs. Z? Is she still living? I still have the letter, prayer, and $1 bill that she sent to all of us for graduation. And just as she said in the letter, as long as you have the $1- you will never be broke.
