For me it will be four years on March 22, 2010. My husband and I been together since '97. Over the years it hasn't all been wonderful, but through all the trials and tribulations we have learned to live as one and love each other more. Im not going to give you the sweet version because marriage is a big step and it takes two willing parties to make it. I don't know why, but every marriage will be tested in some way and you will either let it destroy you or bring you closer together.

I got married on April 18, 2009 to Alfonso Holliday. That day was a day I will never forget. I really believe he is my soulmate. God has blessed me with a husband who caters to my every need. We tell each other how much we love each other everyday. We never go to bed angry and we keep God first in our lives. These are just a few ways we have chosen to start our lives as husband and wife.

It's now coming up on one year, and the Fire is still there! As stated in my last coment, keeping people out of your house is one of the best ways to make your marrige work. Remember, misery love company. Misery will do are say anything to find company. So remeber to always talk, and listen to each other. Remember you are both adults, so keep your tone down when talking. If you feel it's about to get heated, ask to take 5 and come back. Do not leave the topic unresolved. This will just add fuel to the fire. Kiss him or her every day before leaving, and tell them you love them.

I got married Feb. 13, 2009, to my Neighborhood Eastwood Acers Sweetheart Michael Black. We lost track of each other for 23 years and over 800 miles. What are the chances of that I often ask myself, and I came up with the Answer God! My friends use to tease me about always being a home body, and i would never find anyone like that, this story proves that whatever God has for you he will make a way for you to get it.

Anthony and I have been married since Jan. 31 and it's been wonderful thus far. I thought things wouldn't change because we've been there for each other since LA Gears and color Reeboks(LOL) but marriage has changed us and for the better I might add. We compromise more, we agree to disagree, and we love each other like we're the only two on this earth. ( along with our son Justin). We'll have our days of fussing, we'll have our days of slamming doors and sleeping in seperate rooms, but most of all, through it all we'll still have each other. We've been through a LOT and I wouldn't change the past for all the riches of the world. Our past made us stronger today and unbreakble tomorrow. I love marriage life I'm no longer the girlfriend in his life. I am (Justin) his life. We wish you all many blessings. Yvette and anthony Brown Jan. 31, 2009

Hello All,

I will be married to Mike for 8 months on February 28, 2009. For all of you who don't know the history of me and Mike, we met in middle school and have been in love ever since. We broke up for a while and were in relationships with other people but we always knew that we were make for each other. I'm not going to say that everything was peaches and cream throughout our lives together and apart but I always knew that he was going to be my husband even if he didn't. lol. But seriously life is so much better and so much enjoyable when you know you have that ride and die partner by your side. God blessed our past and he's smiling upon our future and I thank him for that. I'm sure some of you either read or heard about an incident that happened on here with me and another young lady. That was exactly where I left it to, on here. It was a challenge for us but like yall said keep God first and you and spouse can get through anything. If you love someone you have to love them whole heartedly. Divorce is not an option once you say, "I DO." You have made a promise to God, him/her, and yourself to be there through everything that is thrown at you and you have to honor that by fighting to stay even if you want to go. So to all love hard, fight hard, and pray harder and congratulations and good luck to everybody and if you ever need to talk I'm always here. And I hope I can come to you guys if I need you. Love ya.
