I am entering into my 6th year as an educator and I enjoy everyday because no day is the same. I am beginning my second year as an assistant principal.

The summer went by too fast. I remember when summers were an eternity. My father always told me that time flies after high school. Now it's about that time. Is everyone ready?

I am a fifteen year veteran. (Time flew by) I am currently teaching in Obg 3 at VPE as a CDEPP teacher. I enjoy working with the four year olds. It gives me great joy to start with the children from the beginning. I have taught grades K, 1, 2, 3, 6 in the past in other districts. I can honestly say at this "season " of my life CD is the best option for me that will not only help me professionally and spiritually, but help the children and their parents as well. ( I had a lot to say, huh?)

Finally, I pray that you all have a great experience during the 2008-2009 school year!

The virtual school is finally here! If you are interested in challenging yourself as a teacher, then check out the new virtual school website www.k12.com. Their curriculum is so awesome and it is better than any curriculum I have come across here in Georgia. I believe K12 is also available in South Carolina this year. If you are a parent interested in homeschooling your own children, this school gives you a better option. It is still public school, but you get to be the learning coach under the direction of a certified teacher for your own kids. Check it out!

Kids definitely aren't like we were back in the day. I teach 7th and 8th graders in Winnsboro, SC. I love em but they can be menacing at times.
