My Update!
I am writing you all to let you know that after under going the chemotherapy and radiation treatments to treat the cancer. It has returned. I have enjoyed the past months since my last treatments and I was every hopeful as were my MDs that we had beat this. I have had some tests already – as this has just happened in the last 3 days. I will under go a biopsy of the tumor that is growing near my heart and lungs on Monday @ 1pm. I will have to have 3 to 4 cycles of a stronger more aggressive chemotherapy and transplant treatments. My chemotherapy will take place here in Charlotte and the transplant treatments will take place at Duke Medical Center.
I have to tell you all that I am doing well. I know that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given me this task and I must complete it. I have been told by a special friend that the Father has a plan for me and my testimony is not complete. I look forward to each day that I can let Him shine through me – my smile my attitude and my energy! He has been with me through this all and I know that He will continue to be with me. I thank and praise Him daily for each day that I have and every moment I spend with family and friends.
At this time I am not sure what kind of time frame we are working with to start the new treatments. I was hoping to travel a little, see some folks that I love and have missed dearly and visit a few places. But for right now, I am taking it a day at a time. So I maybe able to do a little something over the next month. Maybe I will see you.
I do ask that you be not afraid for me in this. The Lord Jesus our God does not give us a spirit of fear. It is not of Him. He gives us his graces, mercy, love salvation and life eternal in Him. He died so we all can live! Please continue to pray for me and my family as we take this journey. And I also ask that if you don’t know Him seek Him! He is the answer all things – we can’t rely on the things and the promises of this world because it is not of God!

Hello & Update!
I know that I have not written anything in weeks. There is good reason for that. I got my test/scans results and started a new treatment. Well that must not have been God’s plan because we are now looking for a new treatment. This time I will be traveling to MD Anderson in Houston TX. So to all of you that know folks in the area…please let me them know that I am there and I need all the love, support, prayers, blessing and help that I can get during this.

Hello - Information - Updates!
I have had an Up and Down Week… being at home from the hospital takes some getting readjusting each time I come home. But God is Awesome! And that is why I am still Here… there is not a quitter in this body or spirit!
No real problems from the visit to the ER! I have to say was crying and in pain and I had to get some help. I have a really rough time the week after the hospital... thanks for the prayers and positive energy!

I am speechless...I am just finding out about your passing and I'm devastated. However, I know you are in a better place and not suffering anymore. You never realize what life has in store for you and you never know what your next move will be. I am grateful to have known you for as many years as I did and I looked up to you. You were my big sister...always will be! I love you and I miss you...I didn't have a chance to speak to you before so I'm taking this time to say...you were a great friend, mentor and sister! RIP
