I am sitting in the Education Office for an Overnight Program that I have to supervise and can't seem to get back to sleep. Being in the zoo at night is a totally different thing than in the day! Racoons, snakes, bullfrogs and who knows what else is hiding in the bushes, is keeping me from getting some fresh air. A bit creeepy I must say! Thanks to OW Roundup, I can play while waiting for my campers to awaken at 6am. I have alot to do later today! The goal is to create 10-15 more designs to be d…

Has anybody thought about planning a cruise for OWroundup members so we can catch up and see everybody. And just have a good time. Wouldn't that be wild and crazy.

I'm just saying ...
1. Usher's opening number was just okay ... he's no Jay-Z and Beyonce. I wanted him to sing Moving Mountains.
2. This whole movie theme is getting on my nerves!
3. Was anyone else waiting to see if Chris Brown was going to thank his baby, Rhianna?
4. Who is The Dream (Best New Artist)? Guess I need to unplug my iPod and turn on the radio or actually watch BET for a change.
5. Alicia Keys' hair (wig) ... what was up with that?
6. Bringing back her favorite girl groups wa…

Hello Everyone! I had to take a break from the updates because I had a lot to think about as far as my treatment and care, and I was battling a secondary infection. So I have been a wiped out over the past two weeks – physically and mentally. This is a lot for one person to handle. But I am standing in the word, prayer and faith that He has a plan for me!
I was really at a lost when my treatment had been terminated. It was really hard to take the news that the chemotherapy was not working and t…

Class Celebration
Whew! The class of '86 really put it down this weekend!! We started on Friday with a cookout/fish fry at a classmate's house. Ain't nothing like fried fish and red rice on a Friday night! Throw in great friends, lots of laughter, and an endless supply of Tequila and let the good times roll! The birthday party on Satruday night was a great success. Everyone was dressed to impress. We partied until after 1 am. There was plenty to eat and even more to drink. I thank God for my fri…

I turned 40 on Sunday, June 8. I've been celebrating the BIG 4-0 all week! The celebration started on Saturday night - dinner at The Cheesecake Factory with an old friend. On Sunday, my children gave me a lovely cake and a Nintendo DS with all the accessories. A good friend also gave me a huge, well stocked basket from Bath and Body works. My office served muffins and bagels for breakfast on Monday and I received several cards and a gift card to TGIFridays! Today, my extended group of friends fr…

Will put up more pics and videos soon.
I'm also using Snapfish and Vimeo to put up stuff for people who aren't on OWroundup.

It is Tuesday June 3, 2008 and according to the political analyst Barack has enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination. I wonder ... do you think that America is ready for a "Black Man" to actually be President of these United States? I know he has won some Primaries and some delegates, he is obviously intelligent and politically savvy, but what do you really think is going to happen when the curtain is pulled shut? Just curious.

Hey there… I know that I have not posted any news or updates. But I have been resting and I was waiting to have News to share.
Well here it is… on May 28th I had my scans and test done. I got my results back on yesterday.
My cancer is progressing; the tumors are increasing in size instead of decreasing in size. At this point my chemotherapy and stem cell treatments have been terminated. We are now in search of other treatments and therapies that maybe available to me to help me fight the cance…

The founder of our university, Daisaku Ikeda, named our son, Shuichi.
The word "shu" means excellent or talented.
The word "ichi" is taken from my name meaning "one" or "number 1"
So, together his name means, "excellence first".
He also has a nickname: Nito
There is a famous Japanese person name Nitobe Inazo, who was a pioneer to bridge the gaps across cultures and races. You can read a quick overview about his life in Wikipedia:

Hey everybody,
This is my first blog entry, and it's to share some great news!!!
My son was born yesterday afternoon, May 26, at 12:45 pm.
He was born 3150g (almost 7 lbs.)
It took about 17 hours to deliver him. So yesterday, I was a very sleepy but very happy dad.
I haven't gotten any pictures of him yet, but I will take some today.
The mom and baby are both doing great!!
By the way, he doesn't have a name, yet. My wife and I have decided to have him named by the founder of the universit…

Hello… Hello…I am here!
I have to give the Thanks and Praise to my Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ for all things and for me to be here to write to you – it is on His power and strength that I am still here!
I have made it through the 2nd cycle of chemotherapy. Last week had its rough moments but I made it through. Oh, yeah for those who missed it – I am officially a tall bald chick! I had to finally shave my head because the shedding of my hair is such an emotional process – so I went for it! An…

I remember right after graduation I said f*ck college! I wanted to be a rapper. I am not sure if many of you remember Phil Kinard. Well he and I started "South Bound Records" the label after recording like millions of demos. We started working with other classmates of ours. We did music with Kenita Pitts (class of 89') and "Groovy" who was also from the class of '89 just to name a few. We recorded our music on a 4 track Tascam analog tape recorder, 4 Radio Shack microphones, and wind poppers mad…

Hello Friends and Family!
I had to take a break over the past two weeks to get some rest and to work a few things out. So I apologize for not sending the update sooner. I am in the 2nd cycle of the 4 day chemotherapy this week. I have to say that I am feeling great. It this is a much better time than I had during the first chemotherapy that I had last year. I am just a little tired – so I am trying to get as much rest as I can. After this cycle of treatment I will have to a series of test to se…

...What up? I just got back from a 4 day stay in Barcelona, Spain. It was mostly ministry b/c I was there to attend a church conference, but I was able to get some leisure time in there too. Time did not permit for me to hit the beach of Costa Brava (Gerona), but all is well and I recommend it should you decide to visit there. There are some great things to see... ranging from the King of Spain's Hilltop Castle and amazingly detailed Cathedrals to the delicate mix of the Spanish and African cult…

What up family? How are you? I just completed a week long vacation with my family touring Italy!!! We drove 2000 miles over a 8 day period, but it was great to spend that quality time with the fam and make the memories of a life time.
Sun, Apr 6 - we arrived at our Ski Resort (ughhhhhh) - Sat was the last day of the ski season - therefore the ski lift just closed.
Mon, Apr 7 - it snowed over 1 ft. of snow! Go figure!
Tues, Apr 8 - we drove over to Caserma Ederle (army base) in Vicenza, Italy…
